this private lesson format is excellent for the child who has some experience playing the game. as the parent or guardian you feel that your child has shown interest and maybe s/he has expressed the desire to pursue private lessons themselves. private lessons also allow some leeway for the child who might be a bit shy or facing challenges that are initially handled best in a student - instructor format.
